MEET YOUR
INSTRUCTORS

Sherrie R.
Owner/Jazzercise Instructor
Sherrie has been passionate about health and fitness since earning her Nutrition degree from Oregon State University in 1995. Her love for aerobics led her to Jazzercise during her college years, and she enjoyed it so much that she became an instructor in 2005 to share that passion with others. In May 2018, she took the next step and became an owner.
When she’s not running her business, Sherrie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, wine tasting, cooking and baking, and relaxing with a good mystery book or show.

Andrea H.
Jazzercise Instructor
Jazzercise turned out to be the blessing she never knew she needed. A lifelong athlete and former Division 1 softball player at Texas Tech, Andrea had trouble finding a fitness routine that stuck after having two kids. She tried gyms, at-home workouts, and Zumba, but nothing felt quite right until she discovered Jazzercise in 2019. From her first class, she was hooked by the music, energy, and fun moves. Becoming an instructor in 2021, she found not just strength and a mood boost, but also a welcoming community that shares her love of fitness and dance.

Cynthia L.
Jazzercise Instructor
Cythia was introduced to Jazzercise about 20 years ago and became a certified instructor in 2018. Outside the studio, she works as a medical social worker at a local hospital. For fun, she enjoys camping trips with her husband Ed, her daughter Riley (“Love Bug”), and her extended family. She’s a big fan of ferns and recently picked up two more while camping in Bend. At home, her family also includes two cats, Mochi and Pumpkin Spice, an axolotl named Zoomie, and a goldfish called Goldie, all of whom add extra joy to her busy life.

Madison H.
Jazzercise Instructor
Jazzercise entered Madi’s life during a season of big changes. After moving back to Vancouver in 2021 to be closer to family, she was searching for a community that aligned with her values and offered a creative outlet. With a background in the performing arts, Madi immediately connected to Jazzercise’s blend of movement, music, and body positivity. She quickly fell in love with the program’s emphasis on lasting mobility and the supportive, inspiring community at Vancouver Fitness Studio—it truly became her home away from home. Outside the studio, Madi works in HR Data Analytics, lives in Portland with her cat Topanga, and enjoys family time, farmer’s markets, baking, canning, beach combing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest’s forests and meadows.

Cindy M.
Jazzercise Instructor
Cindy took her first Jazzercise class in 2017 and was instantly hooked. Dance had always played a big role in her life, and Jazzercise helped her reconnect with that passion, bringing a sense of completeness she’d been missing. Nothing matches the high she feels on the dance floor—her only wish is that she’d found it sooner. Outside of Jazzercise, Cindy works as a first-year success coach for college students, always encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones. Inspired by her own advice, she became an instructor in 2018. Jazzercise and its community have been a steady, positive force, helping her grow and become her best self.

Bethany D.
Jazzercise Instructor
Bethany started Jazzercise in 2013 and became an instructor in 2019. She loves that Jazzercise offers an all-around workout with cardio, strength, and stretching, plus the chance to dance to her favorite songs—especially country hits. Meeting new people through the program has been a highlight for her. Bethany and her husband have been married since 2017 and have two kids, Max and Savanna. She works part-time as an oral surgery assistant, and in her spare time, enjoys paddle boarding, kayaking, soaking up sunshine, refinishing furniture, cooking, baking, and canning.

Julie S.
Jazzercise Instructor
Julie began her Jazzercise journey when her mom spotted an ad in the Columbian newspaper and encouraged her to give it a try—even buying her first EFT pass. Julie was immediately hooked! Though she’s now been teaching over 20 years, she actually started out certified in Jr. Jazzercise, but soon realized she loved dancing alongside her adult friends. For Julie, Jazzercise is more than just a safe and effective workout—it’s helped her grow both physically and mentally. She’s especially grateful for the lasting friendships she’s built with women who have supported her through so many phases of life.

Charlotte M.
Jazzercise Instructor
Charlotte was introduced to Jazzercise in 2023 and quickly fell in love—it was truly love at first set. During college, Jazzercise became her go-to self-care, supporting both her mental and physical health. After graduating, Charlotte decided to become an instructor in June 2024 to deepen her connection with the community she’d grown to love. Now working as a clinician, she still relies on Jazzercise as an empowering outlet. Charlotte loves the music, the energy of each set, and the joy of helping her students get stronger while building strength herself. She can’t imagine her 20s without it!

Kayla L.
Jazzercise Instructor
Kayla first tried Jazzercise in college when her mom brought her to a class. As an athlete, she was skeptical at first, but once she gave it a shot, she was hooked by the upbeat energy and challenging workouts. Now, Kayla LOVES coming to class—not just for the fitness, but for the joy of spending an hour in her “happy place” surrounded by amazing people. For her, Jazzercise is the perfect blend of fun, community, and a seriously good workout.

Libby G.
Jazzercise Instructor
Libby became a Jazzercise addict in 2016 and turned that passion into becoming an instructor in 2023. For her, Jazzercise is the most fun and empowering workout—a blend of physical and mental benefits that keeps her feeling her best. Libby has two children, Holland and Reese, and she Jazzercised through both pregnancies, staying strong and healthy. Now, her kids tag along to class and play in the childcare room while she enjoys her “me time.” Libby is grateful for the supportive community at Vancouver Fitness Studio. Outside the studio, she works in graphic design, loves spending time with family and friends, enjoys outdoor adventures, and hangs out with her dogs, Larry and Nelly.

Tiffany W.
Pilates Instructor
Tiffany discovered her passion for Pilates when she realized how the practice could light up her core and bring her body back to life. Starting out as a way to balance her high-intensity strength training, Pilates soon became her go-to for mindful movement that was both effective and gentle on her joints. Tiffany began teaching Pilates at OSU in 2001 after earning her Mat instructor certification, and later completed an intensive 500+ hour Pilates certification with The Physical Mind Institute in San Diego. Today, she’s a third-generation Balanced Body certified instructor, bringing her expertise and love for Pilates to every session at Fleurishing Pilates.
